Culver-Palms UMC is collaborating
with Santa Monica First UMC,
in a partnership with Bethany UMC in New Orleans
to provide time, treasure and talent to the rebuilding
of a 1000 home neighborhood in the
devastated Gulf Coast.
The fifth Gulf Coast Work team to Bethany UMC will be in New Orleans October 27-November 3, 2007. Members of Culver-Palms UMC, First UMC of Santa Monica, Ocean Park UMC, and Paradise Valley UMC will be on hand to celebrate Bethany's 50th anniversary and continue rebuilding efforts.
CPUMC members, who will make up one-half of the fourteen member team, include Pastor Rich Bolin, Yvonne Kainoa, Margaret Lindgren, Disa Lindgren, Judy Lohs, Fred Marvin and Richard Osby.
